Product features
The model consists of a head and torso structure with anatomically represented structures such as the trachea, esophagus, lungs, and stomach. It allows for the practice of training procedures such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, dressing changes, and the insertion, flushing, and removal of feeding tubes. Secretions can be simulated by mixing methylcellulose with water. The simulator is compatible with size 6 tracheostomy tubes and size 6 NG tubes. It is supplied with accessories including a spray pump lubricant, methylcellulose, instructions for use, and a transport and storage case.
