This digital accessibility statement applies to the website www.docmed.de, in particular to the integrated online shop through which our products and services can be ordered and paid for electronically. Our goal is to enable all users to access our information, products, and services without barriers – regardless of age, disability, or technology used.

We are subject to the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) in conjunction with the European standard EN 301 549. These requirements are based on the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. Scalable content remains readable and operable even when zoomed in (up to 200%). Usability: All page functions are fully keyboard accessible. Interactive elements (e.g., buttons, forms) can be focused correctly. Accessible CAPTCHAs do not require visual cues and can be solved using logic. Navigation is clear and well-structured – with intuitive menus, breadcrumbs, and links. Understandability: Forms offer clearly labeled fields, helpful hints, and understandable error messages. Missing fields are indicated by text and color cues. The content is written in language that is understandable even for people with cognitive impairments. Robustness: Our source code (HTML/CSS) is regularly checked for technical validity. The pages are compatible with all common screen readers and assistive technologies. Structure and content remain the same regardless of the browser used.

The entire ordering process – from product selection and shopping cart to payment processing – is designed to be: keyboard-compatible, with meaningful input fields, easily controlled via clear buttons, and fully accessible to screen readers.

Despite all efforts, it is possible that some content or functions may not yet be fully accessible. For example, some embedded external content or tools, or older PDF documents without complete semantic markup. We are continuously working to identify and eliminate such barriers.
