The Thermarmour thermal blanket was developed in close collaboration with clinicians and emergency teams to reliably protect patients from hypothermia in acute situations. It is specifically designed for use in ambulances, patient transport, and disaster relief. The blanket can be unpacked and placed around the patient in seconds. Thanks to its patented technology, it immediately retains body heat and helps maintain normal body temperature for several hours. This improves patient comfort, supports stable perioperative outcomes, and contributes to increased operational and cost efficiency in everyday clinical practice.
The Thermarmour warming blanket requires no external heat source and can be individually cut to the required size and shape. It is non-conductive and therefore safe for use in medical settings. Furthermore, it is fully X-ray, MRI, and CT compatible, allowing for use during imaging procedures without repositioning the patient. The material is latex-free, lint-free, and skin-friendly, making it suitable even for sensitive skin types. The blanket is reusable for the same patient but is not washable. It can optionally be preheated to further enhance thermal comfort. In addition, the warming blanket is 100% recyclable, making it a sustainable solution in modern healthcare.
