kodan® Tinttur forte colourless from Schülke is a ready-to-use skin antiseptic for application to intact skin prior to invasive procedures. The solution offers a very rapid onset of action after approximately 15 seconds and simultaneously provides a long-lasting effect of at least 24 hours . It is colourless , particularly well-tolerated by the skin , and ideally suited for use on visible areas of skin .
The product has a broad antiseptic spectrum of activity – effective against bacteria (including MRSA and mycobacteria), fungi, and enveloped viruses such as HIV, HBV, HCV, and HSV. VAH/DGHM-listed for skin disinfection and hygienic hand disinfection.

- Preoperative skin antisepsis and postoperative suture care
- Before injections, punctures, blood draws, cannulations, excisions and biopsies
- Before catheterizations
- To support hygienic measures for the prevention of skin fungal diseases

Ready to use – no dilution necessary
Instructions for use:
- Use undiluted
- Thoroughly wet the skin area – either spray directly or apply with a soaked T-tip applicator.
- Remove excess product to avoid puddles.
- Strictly adhere to the exposure times (depending on the area of application)
- In the case of preoperative antiseptics:
– If necessary, shorten the hair mechanically or remove it chemically.
– Use only alcohol-resistant skin markers to avoid smudging the markings
