The SonoEZ Pediatric Ultrasound Trainer “ Cannula” is a specially developed model that simulates the cannulation of small vessels at shallow depths . It contains two small vessels filled with fluid and positioned at different depths to enable realistic ultrasound examination and puncture . When pressure is applied to the probe , the vessels are compressed , mimicking the usual procedure for cannulating small vessels . The model is particularly suitable for practicing puncture techniques in shallow vessels . In addition , the PD vessel model which contains no liquid and is used for a particularly precise puncture technique .
