The SonoEZ ultrasound trainer "branching vessel" from the SonoEZ series is a training and simulation model for visualizing vascular structures in the context of sonographic education. The product is intended solely for educational purposes and is not suitable for use on actual patients.
The model depicts a vessel with a diameter of approximately 6 mm, which branches into two vessels, each with a diameter of approximately 3 mm. The vessel structure is embedded in an ultrasound-compatible training material designed for visualization under ultrasound devices. This allows typical vessel courses and branching patterns to be simulated within a training scenario.
The ultrasound trainer features integrated, punctureable channels designed for repeated training sessions. After puncture, the channels largely close due to the simulator's material properties, thus preserving the vascular representation in the ultrasound image. This allows for multiple training sessions within a single model without any immediate visible impairment of the image.
The training model is supplied in a plastic container and is designed for use in training facilities, education centers, and simulation training. It serves for the structured practice of ultrasound guidance, image interpretation, and the handling of puncture instruments within simulated vascular access scenarios. It is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
To preserve the material properties, it is recommended to store the simulator in a dry, cool place and protected from direct sunlight.
