The Mepilex Border Ag foam dressing is an antimicrobial dressing specially developed for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds . Thanks to silver technology, microbial contamination is effectively reduced, thus decreasing the risk of infection or reinfection. The dressing is particularly suitable for chronic and acute wounds such as pressure ulcers , leg ulcers , diabetic foot ulcers , and second-degree burns .
