The CLEARTEST light D-Dimer is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human D-dimer in whole blood or plasma. The test serves as a supplementary tool in professional in-vitro diagnostics and is intended for use by medical professionals. The detection limit is 500 ng/ml.
The test procedure is based on anti-D-dimer antibodies and capture reagents for the specific detection of D-dimer, a fibrin degradation product formed during fibrinolysis. The test is performed in three steps (sample collection, sample preparation, testing) with results available after ten minutes. The test is suitable for storage at room temperature or refrigerated and is not intended for freezing.
The CLEARTEST light D-Dimer is intended exclusively for professional in-vitro diagnostics and not for self-application.
