The Braun ThermoScan 7+ IRT6525WE ear thermometer is a clinically proven infrared fever thermometer for precise measurement of body temperature in the ear. It was specifically developed for age-dependent interpretation of readings and is suitable for newborns, toddlers, children, and adults. The integrated Age Precision technology enables an age-appropriate evaluation of temperature by adjusting fever thresholds according to the selected age group.
The pre-warmed measuring tip helps to increase measurement accuracy by reducing cooling-related measurement deviations. The wide-angle probe ensures reliable positioning, even in newborns. Additionally, the ExacTemp stability indicator confirms correct placement in the ear canal and supports reproducible measurement results.
A backlit display and an integrated night and silent mode allow for discrete measurements in the dark without disturbing sleeping children. The color-coded display facilitates quick interpretation of temperature values. For hygienic use, the thermometer is used with disposable hygienic caps to prevent cross-contamination. The device is suitable for use in family households as well as in pediatric practices or care facilities.
