Actisorb™ Silver 220 is a high-quality silver-activated charcoal wound dressing specifically developed for cleansing, odor control, and infection control of infected, potentially infectious, or malodorous wounds. The combination of activated charcoal and ionic silver effectively binds exudate, bacteria, toxins, and odorants, while the silver acts as an antimicrobial, inhibiting microbial growth within the dressing.
The non-adherent wound dressing is typically secured with a secondary dressing. It can be used for both acute and chronic wounds – in hospitals, medical practices, and for home care.
