Zetuvit Plus from Hartmann is a highly advanced absorbent dressing specifically designed for wound care . It consists of a special absorbent core made of soft cellulose flakes and a highly absorbent superabsorbent polymer to efficiently absorb wound exudate. The absorbent core is encased in a fluid-dispersing nonwoven fabric that ensures even distribution of exudate across the entire dressing. On the side facing away from the wound , a water-repellent, breathable special nonwoven fabric serves as a contamination barrier and, thanks to its green color, provides a visual aid to prevent application errors. The outer covering, made of a silky-soft, non-adherent two-layer nonwoven fabric , ensures that secretions are quickly wicked away into the absorbent core while maintaining cushioning and breathability . This absorbent dressing is ideally suited for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds .
