The bleeding device is a sophisticated training device that realistically simulates bleeding in various scenarios. It consists of a pump module with three ports that can be wirelessly controlled via an included mobile phone (used only as a control device). The three ports allow for the simulation of either arterial or venous bleeding, and the amount of bleeding can be individually adjusted. The pump is equipped with a sensor that automatically stops when the line is closed (e.g., during wound packing) to prevent damage to the device. The pump module is equipped with a built-in battery that allows for between 2 and 20 hours of training, depending on the user's needs. The battery is easily replaceable by a layperson and corresponds to a standardized battery; a charger is included. The pump module is integrated into a backpack with a hydration bladder, which provides a blood supply, but can also be removed and used separately.
