The female pelvis (flexible) is an anatomically accurate cast of an adult female pelvis , specifically designed for practical demonstrations . Unlike the standard version (model 4054), this model is mounted on elastic rubber and is therefore fully movable to realistically depict natural movements in the sacroiliac joint .
The sacrum (Os sacrum) is removable, which means that the pelvis can be used not only to demonstrate the shape of the pelvis, but also to explain joint mechanisms, birth processes and therapeutic mobilization techniques.
