The Erler-Zimmer strap-on vaccination trainer was specifically developed for realistic training in intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections . The training manikin can be strapped on like an upper arm and allows for hands-on practice on a manikin or simulation figure – without the risk of injury.
The anatomically simulated shoulder structure serves as a palpable landmark for identifying the correct puncture site. The trainer allows for the injection of real fluid using conventional needles and syringes. Thanks to the lifelike material and puncture-resistant backing, the model remains safe and functional even after repeated use. After training, it can be easily disassembled and emptied. The surface is designed to prevent puncture sites from becoming visible —ideal for repeated use with hundreds of punctures.
