The strap-on IV injection trainer was developed to provide practical training in intravenous puncture techniques using simulated patients – on the arm or leg , without risk of injury. The model enables realistic training scenarios under near-real-life conditions and promotes precise handling in everyday clinical practice.
The included puncture pad features two integrated, interchangeable veins that can be connected to an IV pressure bag via a concealed tubing system . It is secured using an elastic strap system that adjusts flexibly to the limbs of the person being trained. The included bottle of washable artificial blood ensures realistic fluid leakage upon successful puncture.
