The IM and iliac crest puncture trainer is a compact, anatomically correct training model for teaching intramuscular puncture (IM) techniques and iliac crest biopsy . The integrated artificial pelvis is made of a bone-like material that can be punctured multiple times, providing a realistic tactile and pricking sensation – ideal for use in medical education and training.
The structure of the iliac crest is easily palpable, providing optimal conditions for safe puncture and biopsy training. Fluid aspiration is not possible with this model, which focuses attention on correct handling and technique .
