This advanced colonoscopy training model was developed based on CT colonoscopy data to provide a precise three-dimensional representation of the human colon. It enables hands-on training in key colonoscopy techniques, including avoiding and reducing loop formation and deliberate loop insertion. The simulator was specifically designed to optimize colonoscopy skills by simulating realistic conditions for colonoscope insertion and navigation, including more challenging segments such as the left flexure.
