This unique phantom is specifically designed for practicing basic breast ultrasound examination and provides a lifelike simulation of breast tissues. It includes simulated targets of varying echogenicities embedded directly into the phantom mammary gland . These targets allow for visualization of subcutaneous fat , mammary gland tissue , galactophores (milk ducts), Cooper's ligaments , retromammary fat , ribs , clavicle , pectoralis major , lungs , and axillary lymph nodes .
