The Silclear balloon catheter is the perfect long-term, all-silicone balloon catheter, offering excellent flexibility and skin compatibility at a great price. Specifically designed for long-term urinary drainage, it is ideal for patients who require catheterization but have latex allergies or sensitivities to other materials. The Silclear catheter offers minimal encrustation and maximum comfort by conforming perfectly to the tissue and causing no mucosal irritation. Its non-allergenic and anti-encrustation properties make it suitable for indwelling periods of up to four weeks.
The catheter is equipped with a plastic valve (not a rubber valve), features a radiopaque stripe extending to the tip for improved visibility, and has a well-fitting, easily inflatable balloon (5–10 ml). It is also color-coded and available in sizes Ch. 12 to 22.
