The phantom with thyroid gland and cervical vertebrae is a specially developed model containing five different thyroid gland sizes (40, 30, 21, 17, 15 cc) for measurement purposes and simulating the cervical vertebrae from C3 to C7 for radiation scattering. This phantom enables the precise analysis of the distribution of radiopharmaceuticals in the thyroid gland, which can be visualized using SPECT and PET scans. It serves for the calibration, quality control, and measurement of imaging systems to ensure accurate radiation distribution.
