The NycoCard CRP test is a quantitative in-vitro diagnostic rapid test for determining C-reactive protein (CRP) in human whole blood, serum, or plasma. CRP is an acute-phase protein whose concentration increases during inflammatory processes or infections. The test supports timely laboratory diagnostic assessment and facilitates the differentiated evaluation of inflammatory processes in clinical practice.
The quantitative measurement provides a usable result within approximately three minutes and is suitable for point-of-care applications. The measuring range is 5–150 mg/l for serum and plasma and 8–250 mg/l for whole blood, allowing for a graded assessment of the CRP concentration. This test is designed for use with the NycoCard READER II and is intended for use in medical practices, hospitals, and laboratories performing acute diagnostics. Accessories such as CRP positive controls and capillaries are not included in the test kit and can be purchased separately if required. Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C; avoid temperatures above 25 °C, direct sunlight, and freezing. This product is intended solely for professional in-vitro diagnostic use.
