Mopylen from Resorba is a synthetic, monofilament, non-absorbable suture made of polypropylene . The surgical thread is dyed blue and features a smooth surface, high tensile strength, and excellent tissue compatibility. Thanks to its chemical inertness, Mopylen is ideal for long-term sutures in vascular and cardiac surgery, as well as for cosmetically demanding skin sutures.
