Further information:
Instruments should be thoroughly cleaned and opened before application. The fine oil film is applied from a distance of approximately 20–30 cm. Proper cleaning after use of combination preparations is particularly important to remove residues from grooves and hinges and to avoid compromising the functional reliability of the autoclave . After drying, the instruments can be sterilized – storage on filter paper is recommended to avoid staining.
