The Medi-Cell Plus is an A/B large-cell overlay system for the treatment of stage I pressure ulcers (according to Seiler). This system is particularly suitable for extended periods of use, as it offers a large-cell, ribbed structure compared to mattresses with a honeycomb surface, ensuring optimal pressure redistribution. It is the ideal choice for patients who need to spend extended periods on the mattress and require additional support. The Medi-Cell Plus consists of 22 cells , 12 of which are equipped with micro-vents that promote air circulation and optimize the bed climate. All cells are individually replaceable (without the overlay) and made of durable PVC .
The mattress topper can be supplied with a stretchy, blue, waterproof cover made of breathable nylon , which is washable up to 60°C . The cover simply snaps open and can be placed in the washing machine for cleaning. For a perfect fit, the Medi-Cell Plus has fold-over flaps at the head and foot ends that provide additional support.
