Kodan Tincture Forte Colorless is a ready-to-use, alcoholic skin antiseptic for antiseptic application on intact skin prior to invasive medical procedures. The colorless formulation allows for use even on highly visible areas of skin without leaving stains and is designed for professional use in medical settings.
This preparation is used for reliable skin antisepsis before injections, punctures, blood draws, cannulations, catheterizations, and surgical and diagnostic procedures. It is also suitable for hygiene measures in everyday clinical practice. Kodan Tincture Forte (colorless) is characterized by its rapid onset of action and is designed for a short-term antimicrobial effect. It is effective against a broad spectrum of relevant microorganisms, including bacteria (including MRSA and mycobacteria), fungi, and enveloped viruses such as HIV, HBV, HCV, and HSV.
