This anatomical child skeleton represents the developmental stage of a child approximately 14 to 16 months old. It shows the unfused epiphyses of the long bones and cartilaginous bone margins typical for this age. The age determination was based on a combination of measurements and anatomical landmarks.
The frontal suture is almost completely closed. The atlas is three-part, the axis four-part. The remaining cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebrae each consist of two parts (vertebral body and vertebral arch). The first three sacral vertebrae are each divided into five parts. In the foot, the calcaneus, talus, and cuboid bones can be clearly identified by their typical shapes.
The skeleton is conditionally movable and suitable for training, teaching, and demonstration purposes. It is supplied on a stable tripod as shown.
This product is intended solely for training and educational purposes and is not suitable for medical diagnostics or patient care.
