This state-of-the-art simulation model offers a realistic way to practice intraosseous infusion and femoral access techniques. The leg is mounted on a stand and can be used as an independent learning station, allowing for hands-on training. The model includes palpable landmarks such as the patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity to facilitate accurate needle placement. The system allows for fluid aspiration to verify infusion efficiency and safety. For femoral access, the model features palpable arterial pulses as well as realistic return flow from a pressurized venous system. Additionally, an interchangeable injection pad and joint are included to allow the leg to be positioned appropriately for the procedure. A 15-gauge intraosseous infusion needle is included, as is a convenient carrying case for safe storage and transport.
