This twice-life-size heart model offers a particularly realistic and detailed representation of the anatomy of the human heart . It is ideal for use in medical teaching , nursing and emergency services training , as well as for patient education in cardiology and general medicine .
Several components are removable to reveal the internal structure:

Atria, ventricles and heart valves

Left atrial appendage with pulmonary artery (removable, view into left atrium)

Left ventricle can be opened

Right ventricle and right atrium accessible via hinged heart muscle structure
The coronary vessels and heart muscles are particularly vivid in cross-section , as are fatty tissue, arteries and veins , which are shown in elaborate hand-painted, differentiated colors.
The model is made of unbreakable plastic and mounted on a removable base . A bilingual learning card (German/English) describes all relevant structures.
