The HemCon ChitoGauze® Trainer is a specially developed training product for realistic instruction in the use of hemostatic dressings. It simulates the application of HemCon ChitoGauze® bandages in training and exercise scenarios for the treatment of severe bleeding injuries.
The training device is designed to resemble the original product in terms of handling, format, and application technique, enabling practical practice of wound packing and pressure bandaging. This supports the development of confidence in handling the procedure, correct technique, and a structured approach in emergencies. The product does not contain active chitosan and has no hemostatic properties.
The HemCon ChitoGauze® Trainer is designed for use in medical training, emergency medical services training, military and tactical training, first aid courses, disaster relief exercises, as well as in-house continuing education and skill labs. It is suitable for various experience levels – from beginners to experienced professionals – and allows for repeated training applications under controlled conditions.
This product is intended solely for training and demonstration purposes and is not suitable for the medical care of patients.
