The Cleartest Gono is an immunochromatographic in-vitro diagnostic rapid test for the qualitative detection of Neisseria gonorrhoeae antigens. It is intended for professional use and supports timely laboratory-supported testing in cases of clinical suspicion of gonococcal infection.
The test is designed for use with swab samples and is suitable for cervical swabs in women and urethral swabs in men. The visually interpretable test result is available within approximately ten minutes. The standardized test procedure allows for easy integration into routine diagnostic procedures.
The Cleartest Gono can be used in doctors' offices, clinics, and laboratories and is intended for in-vitro diagnostics by trained personnel. Storage is possible at 2–30 °C, which facilitates its use in everyday practice and clinical settings.
The test results serve as diagnostic support and must always be evaluated in conjunction with clinical findings and, if necessary, further diagnostic measures. The test is intended exclusively for professional use and is not suitable for self-testing.
