The Gelcast ankle brace offers universal application and can be worn on either the right or left ankle . It was designed to provide optimal stabilization of the ankle joint while ensuring comfort and flexibility . The soft gel pads conform perfectly and comfortably to the ankle, providing gentle support.
A special feature of the Gelcast ankle brace is the option of using it with removable gel pads for simultaneous cold therapy . This reduces swelling and pain, promoting healing after injuries or surgery. Cold therapy can be achieved by placing the gel pads in the refrigerator for approximately two hours. Alternatively, the brace can also be used for heat therapy by warming the gel pads in a hot water bath .
The combination of air chamber technology and removable gel cushions offers excellent support and enables individually tailored therapy for both cold and heat applications .
