This realistic model of labor progress and vaginal examination allows for a practical simulation of obstetric examinations. It was specifically developed to assess the progress of labor and to learn and practice key examination techniques such as evaluating cervical dilation, palpating the fontanelles and cranial sutures, and checking the vertex exposure of the fetus.
The set includes a fetal head, a genital segment, a fetal buttocks for demonstrating breech presentation, and four interchangeable dilation models with diameters of 1, 3, 4, and 8 cm to realistically depict different stages of labor. The fetal head and dilation models have been structurally optimized to ensure an even more realistic feel while maintaining high durability.
All components are housed in a robust plastic casing, which allows for easy handling, hygienic cleaning and safe storage.
