This neonatal training manikin offers a comprehensive training platform for basic and emergency care of a four-week-old infant . The full-body model features realistic airways with esophagus , bronchi, and lungs , making it ideal for practicing airway management , intubation , and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) . The functional umbilical cord allows for catheterization , blood sampling , and tying and cutting the umbilical cord. The "Plus" version includes punctureable veins on the arm/hand and leg, providing realistic training in access establishment and blood sampling , including the ability to use transillumination techniques .
