This detailed model shows the falx cerebri (cerebral crescent), a central structure of the meninges that separates the two cerebral hemispheres. It is ideal for anatomical teaching , neurosurgical training , and illustrating venous brain structure .
Visible are, among other things, the openings of the bridging veins , the arachnoid villi , the superior and inferior sagittal sinuses , and the rectus sinus . The realistic design supports understanding of the venous drainage system in the dura mater.
The model is compatible with various skull models ( Art. No. 4500, 4505, 4508, 4509, 4512, 4514, 4701 and 4708 ) as well as with the brain models Art. No. C922 (functional/regional) and C918 (anatomical, 5-part) – ideal for combined demonstrations.
