This highly functional central venous puncture (CVC) simulator was specifically designed for training medical professionals in central venous puncture—both ultrasound-guided and based on anatomical landmarks . The model allows for realistic practice of puncturing the internal jugular vein, subclavian vein, and supraclavicular vein . Artificial blood can be drawn from the punctured veins, and in the event of an incorrect puncture involving air contact, the simulator simulates backflow of air pressure, indicating lung injury .
The veins visibly deform when pressure is applied by the ultrasound probe, deepening the anatomical understanding of compressible vessels . The simulator is ideal for skills labs, emergency training, and clinical education and training.
