This life-size breast model is made of tissue-like, skin-like material and is ideal for palpation training and self-examination . Inside, it features a clearly palpable lump and a mastopathy to train the realistic perception of breast changes . The model is an effective tool for the early detection of breast cancer and is used for education in practices, clinics, schools, and as part of prevention campaigns.
The included teaching card not only shows the exact position of the palpable changes in the model, but also contains a statistical overview of possible nodule distributions in the breast as well as a breast cancer classification for better orientation.
