This realistic model of a female lower body was specially developed for postnatal training and postpartum care . It allows for palpable examination of uterine involution in the first few days after birth—including normal and pathological processes. The special plastic used provides a particularly realistic tactile sensation. Thanks to the interchangeable uterus models, various stages of involution can be realistically demonstrated and differentiated. The model is also suitable for practicing intimate care and examining the vulva , labia , and anus .
