This particularly realistic training model enables practical training in bladder catheterization , bowel irrigation , washing , and examination in everyday urological and nursing practice. The combination of a natural cast of the external genitalia made of soft material and the robust plastic lower body allows both an anatomically accurate representation and high functionality. The urethra is constructed in such a way that the insertion of a catheter can be practiced using standard products from everyday clinical use, exactly as on a patient. Thanks to the integrated fluid reservoir , urine flows from the catheter after successful catheterization – for a particularly realistic learning experience. Bowel irrigation with fluid can also be performed.
