This state-of-the-art injection model enables realistic training of intramuscular injections under realistic conditions. Made of a specialized plastic, it provides a highly authentic feel during palpation and insertion. The injection sites are multi-layered , based on the human anatomy, and provide lifelike feedback when the needle is inserted . A special highlight: Sensors acoustically indicate incorrect placement if the injection is not correctly localized. The correct puncture must be performed using the anatomically correct Hochstetter method .
An integrated drainage system allows for practice with real fluid without damaging the model. The skin and injection fields are replaceable , and the device is battery-operated—ideal for use in teaching, testing, and practice.
