The replacement laryngeal ligament layer for the "Crico Chris" cricothyrotomy trainer enables realistic and structured training of surgical emergency cricothyrotomy. It simulates the conic ligament , which must be severed during the procedure, and offers practical incision resistance , as encountered in everyday clinical practice.
Thanks to the rotating design, the ligament layer can be easily rotated after each incision, allowing the entire circumference to be used piece by piece. This allows for multiple practice sessions with a single use – ideal for training courses, OSCE stations, and emergency simulations.
