This detailed neuron model offers unique insight into the effects of multiple sclerosis (MS) on the myelin sheath. Highly magnified, the model shows both a healthy axon and three different disease stages with damaged myelin sheaths—ideal for illustrating neurological processes. The model can be removed from the base for closer inspection.
