This osteoporotic vertebral model shows three full-size, medially sectioned lumbar vertebrae, allowing for a direct comparison of different bone structures. The upper vertebra represents healthy bone architecture, the middle one an osteoporotic structure, and the lower one an advanced stage with a depressed endplate in the shape of a so-called "fish vertebra."
All three vertebrae are mounted on a stable stand and can be individually removed, allowing for a clear demonstration of structural differences and the progression of bony changes. The model serves to illustrate the effects of osteoporosis on the vertebral bodies and is intended for teaching, training, and demonstration purposes.
