The Senior Pressure Ulcer Foot was specifically designed to teach the cleaning and care of pressure ulcers at various stages, especially in older people who frequently suffer from such conditions. Pressure ulcers usually develop at pressure points on the body, such as the heels , tips of the toes , or between the toes , especially where bones protrude and regularly press against socks , shoes , or bedsheets .
This model demonstrates all four stages of a pressure ulcer, making it an extremely valuable tool for training wound care professionals. It enables hands-on training in the effective treatment and care of pressure ulcers and helps learn proper technique.
The four stages of pressure ulcers:

Characteristics: The skin surface is reddened , this is the first and least damage to the skin.
