This realistic labor progress and vaginal examination model offers a detailed and practical simulation of labor examinations . It is designed to assess labor progress and practice the various stages of cervical dilation , palpation of the fontanelles , cranial sutures , and verification of the fetal vertex position.
The set includes a fetal head , a genital segment , a fetal buttock for breech presentation demonstration , and four interchangeable dilation models measuring 1, 3, 4, and 8 cm to realistically depict labor progress at different stages. The fetal head and dilation models have been improved to provide even more realistic simulation while being particularly durable .
All components fit into a sturdy plastic housing , which ensures easy handling and cleaning and enables hygienic storage.
