The CRiSis infant mannequin with interactive ECG simulator is a comprehensive resuscitation and training system for teaching life-saving measures in infants. Specifically developed for pediatric advanced life support, it enables structured, hands-on training in key infant emergency care procedures. The model simulates realistic emergency situations and supports the development of skills in the care of critically ill infants.
The training mannequin combines all relevant functions in one system. These include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, intravenous access in the arm and leg, intraosseous infusions, and umbilical cord cannulation. An integrated 4-lead ECG connection allows training under realistic monitoring conditions. The special chest skin with umbilical cord enables practice of cutting, clamping, and catheterizing the umbilical cord; fluid can be realistically aspirated through the navel.
The included portable, interactive ECG simulator allows for the display of various ECG scenarios and supports real-time training in decision-making and resuscitation procedures. The anatomically shaped head enables safe practice of airway management techniques and maintaining a patent airway in infants. Realistic venous and intraosseous access points support practical training in invasive procedures.
The CRiSis infant mannequin is suitable for pediatric emergency and intensive care medicine, medical education and training, and simulation centers that model complex resuscitation and emergency scenarios. It represents a complete training solution for pediatric resuscitation and supports the structured teaching of practical skills and clinical decision-making processes in infant emergency care.
