The CLEARTEST HCV rapid test in cassette form is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of antibodies against the hepatitis C virus (HCV) in human whole blood, serum, or plasma. This test is used to support the diagnosis of hepatitis C infection and enables the rapid and accurate identification of HCV antibodies, which are detectable in over 80% of patients with chronic hepatitis C infection.
