The Caresite Extension Set from B. Braun offers a safe, flexible, and needle-free solution for intravenous access during infusion therapy. Equipped with one or two Caresite membrane valves , the system enables comfortable and hygienic medication administration without needles – ideal for reducing needlestick injuries and cross-contamination.
The integrated sliding clamp allows for easy flow control, while the patient connector with a rotating union nut (Spinlock) ensures a secure and leak-proof connection with minimal mechanical stress. The line is DEHP- and latex-free , making it particularly suitable for sensitive patient groups. The version with item number 470100 is also high-pressure resistant .
