The Biatain Ag foam dressing from Coloplast is a modern antibacterial wound dressing that combines the proven 3D polymer structure of Biatain with ionic silver . The silver in the dressing is homogeneously distributed and is released continuously throughout the entire period of wear (up to 7 days) – depending on the amount of exudate. Biatain Ag is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic and infected wounds where a local antimicrobial effect is required.
