Biatain® Alginate is a highly absorbent alginate dressing specifically developed for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds . The dressing adapts flexibly to different wound sizes, shapes, and depths , and its pure calcium alginate structure offers superior absorption compared to conventional alginate or hydrofiber dressings. By forming a gel upon contact with wound exudate, Biatain Alginate supports moist wound healing while promoting gentle removal during dressing changes.
