This life-size cast of a real human leg is made of soft material that realistically simulates both the skin structure and soft tissue . The model is poseable , allowing it to be used for various first aid exercises and emergency treatments .
The model's thigh features a gunshot wound with entry and exit points , allowing for authentic injury simulation. An integrated hemorrhage system allows the wound to bleed realistically , and an optional hemorrhage device can be used to intensify blood flow. Learners can effectively stop the bleeding by applying wound packing or correctly applying a tourniquet .
